Rome

The seven night holiday commences with scheduled flights to Rome from the UK and a private car transfer to the hotel. Experience the magic of Rome from the impressive ancient sites of the Forum and the Colisseum to the Renaissance art and sculpture of the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel; all complemented by an exceptional array of boutiques and shops. Stay for three nights at the 4´ Deluxe Hotel D’Inghilterra in Rome, centrally located close to the Spanish Steps and the fashionable shops of the Via Condotti. Florence

After an exciting stay in the country’s capital, transfer by high speed inter-city rail from Rome to Florence, with private taxi transfers between the hotels and the stations. The centre of this splendid Renaissance city is easily manageable on foot with many of the main museums and churches within convenient striking distance of each other. Two nights are spent in the 5´ Deluxe Helvetia & Bristol Hotel in Florence, just steps from the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. A small, characterful and beautifully furnished hotel with impeccable, traditional Florentine service. The hotel has just 67 characterful bedrooms, including some beautiful suites. There is a fashionable bar and a fine restaurant, the Hostaria Bibendum. Alternatively, there are plenty of wonderful ‘trattorie’ and local fine restaurants on your doorstep. Meat lovers should be sure to try the city’s signatory dish of ‘Bistecca alla Fiorentina’.

Siena

After experiencing the Renaissance delights of the Medici’s home city, an efficient rail transfer will transport you from Florence to the medieaval centre of Siena, one of Tuscany’s most attractive cities, still impeccably preserved and the venue for the renowned #8216;Palio’ horse race. Two nights are spent in the 5´ Deluxe Grand Hotel Continental, arguably one of the top hotels in Italy. Situated just a few steps from the historic Piazza del Campo and the Cathedral, this palazzo was built in 1600 and was a gift from the then Pope to a Sienese nobleman. Many of the 69 spacious bedrooms and suites have original frescoes combined with the latest comforts. Transfer by private car to Pisa airport for return flight to the UK.
