Day 1

Sydney - Blue Mountains (100km/62miles)

Collect your car and depart Sydney, heading west for the Blue Mountains. You'll see the best views from Echo Point. Visit the spectacular Wentworth Falls and visit the picturesque town of Leura. Overnight for two nights in The Blue Mountains.

Day 2

Blue Mountains

Spend a day at leisure in the Blue Mountains to explore the region including the Jenolan Caves and the many different walking tracks.

Day 3

Blue Mountains – Hunter Valley (175km/109miles)

After a leisurely breakfast (own expense) head off from the Blue Mountains. Travel through the pretty Brisbane Water and Wollemi National Parks en route. Arrive in Cessnock which is the gateway to the Hunter Valley and visit wineries in abundance. You will also find that the Hunter Valley has many excellent restaurants for you to sample.

Day 4

Hunter Valley – Port Stephens (150kms/93miles)

Drive through the pretty Hunter Valley and evocatively named Lemon Tree passage to reach Port Stephens. It is here you will have the chance to see the bottlenose dolphins which play in the bay. While staying in Port Stephens you can look forward to fabulous seafood and wonderful beaches.

Day 5

Port Stephens - Sydney (175km/109miles)

Leaving Port Stephens travel south along the Pacific Highway through Newcastle and past Lake Macquarie. Drive back into Sydney over the iconic Harbour Bridge. Your car is booked until tomorrow and should be dropped off at the city or airport at the same time that it was picked up on day one to avoid any additional charges.
