Day 1Kuala LumpurOn arrival at Kuala Lumpur airport meet your guide and transfer to your
chosen city hotel for a 3-night stay. Day 2Kuala Lumpur City TourAfter breakfast depart for your orientation tour of Kuala Lumpur. See the contrast between the Indo-Moorish architecture and the ultra modern edifices such as the Petronas Twin Towers. Other highlights include the elegant Jamek Mosque, bustling Chinatown and the majestic Royal Palace. Continue your journey to the National Museum and view the beautiful Lake Gardens. Day 3Kuala Lumpur & MalaccaToday enjoy a scenic drive 2 hours south of Kuala Lumpur to Malacca which has undergone Portuguese, Dutch and English rule. A guided walk up St. Paul’s Hill provides panoramic views of the Malacca Straits and the old town of Bandar Hilir with the opportunity of visiting the Fort de Santiago and ruins of St. Paul’s Church. Enjoy a typical ‘Nonya’ lunch before taking a stroll along the Antiques Row at Jonker Street. Day 4Kuala Lumpur - Taman NegaraToday travel by road and boat to Taman Negara National Park. Relax on
the fascinating 3-hour upriver trip, taking in the wildlife and lush jungle
vegetation along the banks. Arrive at Kuala Tahan in the late afternoon
and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. This evening we recommended
you join the jungle night walk organised by the resort. (BL) Day 5Taman NegaraToday’s activities include the Canopy Walkway which stretches a
distance of 500 meters, the longest in the world. A motorised canoe trip
up the Tahan River to the cataracts of Lata Berkoh and a jungle trek passing
Lubok Simpon water hole for a swim and a rest. Day 6Taman Negara - KuantanThis morning depart from Taman Negara for your journey to the east coast
state capital of Kuantan on the banks of the Kuantan River. This evening
is yours to relax and explore the town. Day 7Kuantan City TourAfter breakfast depart for your morning tour of Cherating Village & Kuantan Town. Drive along the coastline dotted with fishing villages, stoping at Beserah to see villagers process their catch, the local delicacy, salted fish. View the exclusive residence of the Royal Family, a colourful Hindu temple, watch the intricate art of Batik making and photograph the new State Mosque enroute. Day 8Kuantan - PenangThis morning take your direct flight from Kuantan airport to the west
coast island of Penang. Transfer to your chosen beach hotel where the
rest of the day is at leisure to relax by the pool or explore the local
area. Day 9Penang sightseeingThis morning join your guide on a half day orientation tour of the Island, passing through Fort Cornwallis and historical buildings such as the Town Hall and the Anglican Church. The final stop is the temple of the Reclining Buddha, one of the largest in the world. After an afternoon relaxing this evenings activities take you to Penang’s capital of Georgetown which comes alive at night. Savour Penang’s local dishes in the many open-air food stalls while watching them being prepared. Relax after dinner and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city by taking a trishaw ride through the heart of Georgetown. Days 10 -11PenangYour time is free to relax on Penang’s beaches, enjoy the seafood restaurants and explore the island further. Day 12Penang - Cameron HighlandsAfter breakfast depart by road to the Cameron Highlands. Pass by mosques,
villages and plantations before arriving at Ipoh for lunch with time to
visit the cave temples. Arrive at the Cameron Highlands 1,524m above sea
level, in the afternoon and enjoy its lush cool climate. Day 13Cameron HighlandsStart the morning on an orientation tour of the Cameron Highlands, with a visit to the fruit and vegetable farms, flower gardens, tea plantation and an agricultural station. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the resort, or simply be rejuvenated by the fresh cool air. Day 14Cameron Highlands - PangkorDepart the Cameron Highlands in the morning for a 3 hour drive to Lumut
pier to catch the ferry over to Pangkor Island or Pangkor Laut, where
you will be transferred to your chosen resort. Days 15 -17PangkorYour time is free to relax on these beautiful islands and enjoy the natural scenery. On day 17 depart by road to Kuala Lumpur airport for your onward flight. |
